JASON THOMAS
is going to release
his new single to country radio On The Edge.
Jason Thomas
will be going for adds at radio May 2008. Jason
Thomas is excited about the single, as it is a little
more fast pace and up tempo. We will be working with the
stations playing Jason Thomas to giveaway Margaritaville
Cargo Machines and other exciting giveaways.
Jason Thomas was
born May 9, 1974 in Abilene, Texas where his dad was a
pilot stationed at Dyess Air Force Base. Jason Thomas
spent his formative years in Abilene, before moving to
Washington, DC/Maryland area where he attended middle
and high school After graduating high school, Jason
Thomas attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in
Daytona Beach, Florida and studied Aviation Business.
While in Daytona Beach, Jason Thomas also received his
State Law Enforcement Certificate, and then transferred
to Florida State University where he pursued an
education in Political Science and International
Business.
In 2004 Jason Thomas
attended and performed at a songwriters forum in South
Florida and met music executive Tom Long. Tom and Jason
hit it off and have developed a friendship, as well as a
great working relationship.
In February 2005,
JASON THOMAS started consulting with music industry
pro Larry Boster. Larry Boster has had success in all
aspects of the touring & production side of the music
business. Larry Boster has designed numerous lighting
and stage sets for many major artists including Veggie
Tales, Rascal Flatts, Motley Crue, 3 Doors Down, and is
the Lighting Producer and Set Designer for Brooks &
Dunn.
In
October 2005, Jason Thomas released his debut single
Somebody Down Here Loves Me to radio, and by January
2006 Jason’s single was being played on radio stations
across the country. Larry Boster decided in February
2006 that Jason Thomas should be introduced to long time
friend and music insider Everett Lybolt. Everett has
been in the music business for many years and has
managed some other artist including All-4-One & Clint
Black.
By Summer of 2006 the
single had reached #61 on the Music Row Chart. Jason
made the decision to pursue the music business full time
and in October of 2006 Jason had moved to the Nashville
area.
Everett and Tom
have consulted with Jason Thomas for the past year on
where the road leads. Jason is excited to have Tom Long
& Everett Lybolt participate in the recording of My Old
Man.
Jason Thomas has
opened for such artists as Trick Pony, Clay Walker, Jake
Owens and Confederate Railroad and has performed for 2
years at the Homestead Main Street Celebration for the
End Of Season Nascar Party in Homestead, Florida. Jason
Thomas has also performed for fundraisers for the
American Cancer Society , the Association of Retarded
Citizens and the Nam Knights fundraiser for military
veterans.
